Flag Raising Ceremony for City of Vaughan Human Trafficking Awareness

It has become financially more lucrative to exploit and sell a child than to sell drugs because a child can be sold more than once. This summer we were awakened to the dark truth of the trafficking of children for the purpose of sexual entertainment, when the movie "The Sound of Freedom" hit Cineplex Theatres. On behalf of the Parish of St. Padre Pio in Kleinburg, the CWL requested a flag raising at the City of Vaughan to bring about awareness of the evil of human trafficking. Please join us and many dignitaries, including Chief R. Stacey Laforme of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, as we raise a Flag and raise awareness to help all trafficked human beings.
